ALERT: Impending changes to OPWDD Medicaid Service Coordination program

Join SKIP in raising our collective voices against these disruptive changes.

The New York State’s Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is in the process of transitioning the care of individuals with I/DD to a new model called Coordinated Care Organizations which includes enrollment in Managed Care. These changes will affect you if your child is currently enrolled in Medicaid Coordination Services. Changes will be effective in July 2018. SKIP of New York alerted the families it serves and submitted comments to OPWDD. Read both documents, they are very important.
